What it's about

In 1953, Comrade Colonel Ilsa commands Gulag 14, using executions and psychological terror to break political dissidents like Andrei Chikurin. Following Joseph Stalin's death, the camp is burned down, but Andrei escapes the blazing compound while young Nikolai perishes. Over twenty years later, Andrei works as a hockey coach in Montreal and falls into a trap set by Ilsa, who now runs a profitable criminal empire. As Soviet agents and rival mobsters close in, Andrei endures brutal conditioning before a massive assault shatters the compound, leaving Ilsa behind as the enterprise collapses.
