What it's about
Channa Mereya is a love story about Kainat (Payal Rajput), a girl belonging to an affluent family, who falls for her classmate Jagat (Ninja) , a good looking guy who comes from a poor background. Initially they start seeing each other secretly, but when their relationship gets revealed they end up facing rebellion from Kainat's brother Balli (Amrit Mann) and father (Yograj Singh) which makes them stronger and bolder with time. It is a story about unconditional love and the extent to which one can go in love. It is all about the struggle of the loved ones, towering egos of families, ruthlessness of the society, apathetic blood relations and undeterred love which remains forever, no matter what.
