What it's about
Part 'The Wizard of Oz', part 'Eyes Wide Shut', EXPIRATION stares straight into the dreams and nightmares of childhood, leading both character and audience deep into the heart of an unflinching urban fairy tale. Set amidst the chaotic, yet seemingly predestined events of a fall Montreal night, this coming of age odyssey from newcomer Gavin Heffernan follows three lost characters through a circus of tests, trials and colorful figures. As their futures materialize, realization dawns that every step of their journey has been leading to a single moment, high above the city...
