What it's about
From her dark and dank prison cell, the young inmate, Elli Kapralou, makes an effort to trace the events leading up to a bleak present. Her side of the story rests hidden in her personal diary; however, is her mother's torrid and unreasonable affair with a much younger parasite lover the root of all evil? Some say that beauty is a curse; nevertheless, must a ferociously beautiful body pay for the foul sins of men? Elli has heard her lovers' solemn but hypocritical promises over and over again. Will she ever let go of the past, to be able to trust again? In the end, who can escape passion's mysterious and intoxicating vertigo?
