What it's about
An architect, John drives home to his pregnant wife Jennifer when he accidentally runs over a man. He hires the grieving widow Nicole as a personal assistant and housekeeper to avoid an indictment, so that she can take the insurance money. Vengeful Nicole pretends to be nice about the whole thing. Next thing she tries to seduce him with his wife unaware of their affair. Jenifer begins to suspect something when one day she catches her drunk husband in bed with her. She leaves the house in the middle of a storm.
