Jack lives in the jungle of New Guinea, where his wife Rose gets killed. Two years later in Melbourne he meets an author named Kate who highly resembles Rose. They fall in love and he persuades her to accompany him back to the jungle, but once there Jack is haunted by Rose while he drinks heavily and watches old videos of her.
