What it's about
Zhan Zhao Adventures is based on the classic novel "Three Heroes and Five Gallants", and innovatively reconstructs the story with "Southern Hero" Zhan Zhao as the core perspective. It tells the story of Southern hero Zhan Zhao (Yang Yang), while investigating clues left behind by an old friend about the Xiangyang Prince's rebellion, travels south alone. Along the way, he is repeatedly hunted down and unexpectedly meets Huo Linglong (Zhang Ruonan), a wanderer of the jianghu. To protect the evidence, Zhan Zhao uses himself as bait to distract the enemy. While trying to save the common people, he exhausts himself and is captured. At a critical moment, the brocade-furred rat Bai Yutang (Fang Yilun) comes to his rescue. The three join forces to continue the investigation, gathering evidence of the Xiangyang Prince's crimes-colluding with both the underworld and corrupt officials, exploiting the people, and secretly conspiring with foreign enemies. In the end, they thwart his schemes spanning both the court and the jianghu, restoring righteousness to the martial world and peace to the people.
